U.S. Exporters Sell Corn to Japan, Soybeans to China, USDA Says
U.S. exporters reported sales of 151,638 metric tons of corn to Japan and 110,000 tons of soybeans to China, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said.
The corn is for delivery in the year that ends Aug. 31, and the soybeans are for delivery in the year that starts Sept. 1, the USDA said today in a statement.
Shippers must report any export transaction of 100,000 tons or more for any commodity sold in one day to a single destination.
